Our story

Built in a classroom, not a boardroom.

ChemPrep started as a teacher's own toolkit — a faster way to turn two decades of Cambridge past papers into focused practice for students.

The problem

Every Chemistry teacher knows the ritual: hunting through PDF past papers, screenshotting questions, pasting them into a document, hunting down the matching mark scheme, and formatting it all by hand. A single worksheet could swallow an evening — time that should go to teaching.

What we built

We indexed 13,004 questions across 704 papers from Cambridge IGCSE 0620 and O-Level 5070, spanning 2002 to 2026 — and tagged every one by topic, tier and exam component. ChemPrep turns that library into a balanced, printable worksheet in seconds, with the official mark schemes attached.

All three exam components are covered: multiple choice, structured theory, and the alternative-to-practical papers. Selection is balanced across the topics you choose and never leans on a single past paper, so students see genuine variety.

How we think about it

ChemPrep is for internal school use — a planning aid that respects teachers' time and students' need for real, exam-standard practice. It is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Cambridge Assessment International Education.

Where we're going

Editable course plans, saved worksheets, department sharing and more are on the way. If you teach Chemistry and have a feature in mind, we'd love to hear it.
